The Northwest Commission APEX Accelerator is funded through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense, Office of Secretary of Defense, Office of Small Business Programs (DoD OSD, OSBP) and PA Department of Community and Economic Development. APEX Accelerators are located nationwide; each have a mission to serve as the axis for existing and new business to strengthen the defense industrial base by accelerating innovation, fostering ingenuity, and establishing resilient and diverse supply chains. The NWC APEX Accelerator provides technical assistance and resources to help businesses do business with the Federal, State and Local governments – as either a Prime or Subcontractor. All services are FREE! Trained and qualified counselors are here to assist in all government contracting activities such as – registration with the Federal government in the System for Award Management (SAM), Joint Certification Program (JCP), understanding the DFARS Cybersecurity and CMMC requirements, understanding Solicitations and Proposal development, Woman-Owned, Veteran-Owned and Minority Owned Certification assistance, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), SBIR/STTR contracts, Doing business with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and DIBBS, PA COSTARS and ITQs, and so much more.
