The Precast Specialist is responsible to produce the number of required precast shapes per work orders.
Duties
Stage materials for optimal pouring schedule
Onsite assessment prior to commencing work to ensure all equipment and material is staged
Report any need for material procurement
Minimize loss of materials to stay under budget for job
Complete work in a timely manner
Work with department to overcome challenges to keep the job on schedule
Accurate and reliable with the quality of work results
Ensure job scope was completed based on material requirements
Ensure proper mixing/pouring techniques were used
Patch pieces as necessary for aesthetics
Qualifications
Respirator Fit Testing – Requires face to be clean shaven
Requires moving one’s whole body such as climbing, lifting, kneeling, balancing, walking, stooping and bending
Activities often require considerable use and coordination of the arms, hands, fingers and legs such as the physical handling of equipment and materials
Requires stamina to physical exertion over long periods of time
Must be able to move or handle equipment and materials generally weighing up to 100 pounds
